Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said the state has plenty of opportunities to promote cultural, spiritual and religious tourism.

Inaugurating the Itkhori Mahotsav-cum-development mela near Maa Bhadrakali temple premises in Chatra district, Das said the state government would set up an archive to preserve the antiquity recovered during the mining near Itkhori temple.

Das said the government was developing religious places such as Rajrappa, Deoghar, Basukinath and Maluti.

Das said the Detail Project Report for construction of 75 km road between Itkhori-Huntergunj-Bodhgaya was being prepared.

The accessibility of tourists will be easy following the completion of the project, he said.
