Jharkhand government today decided to set up programme management unit to impart skill training to twenty lakh people in the next five years.
As per the decision taken by the Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Raghubar Das, 50 large skill training centres would be opened and 200 to 300 centres at the block level, official sources said here.
The aim is to train 20 lakh people by 2021, the sources said.

In another decision, the retirement age of teachers of polytechnic colleges has been raised from 62 to 65, the sources said.
A total Rs 97.77 crore was approved for solid waste management for Godda district.
It would be set up in public private partnership, the sources said.
