Jhelum water level to recede by tomorrow

The water-level of Jhelum River in Srinagar is expected to recede by tomorrow morning.

According to a Ministry of Water Resources statement here, water-level of the river at Rammunshi Bagh near Srinagar was at 1,585.5 mts (0.65 mts above danger level) with steady trend at 6 PM today.

The level is expected to reduce to 1,585 mts by 8 AM tomorrow and to 1,584.5 mts by 6 PM tomorrow, the statement said.
