JICA project deferred in Cuttack

"Due to certain technical complications, the inauguration of drainage and sewerage project funded by JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) in the city has been deferred," Mayor of Cuttack S K Ghosh said here on occasion of Local Self-government Day today.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik would launch the project in a month, he said.

The civic body launched about half-a-dozen projects, including a vending zone for dahi vara and aloo dum vendors at Bidanasi.
