Comedian Jimmy Fallon was at the center of Harvard Lampoon's annual parade this year.

The 41-year-old comedian and talk show host was getting the royal treatment as the "Emperor of Comedy" who got paraded in a Roman Chariot, reported Ace Showbiz.

As previously announced, Fallon was the recipient of the oldest humour magazine's Elmer Award for Excellence in Humour.

He was paraded from the Inn at Harvard, through the Harrvard Square and to the steps of the magazine's headquarters, Lampoon Castle.

Fallon posted a photo of him from the parade where he wore sunglasses and wreath on his head. Earlier, he wrote on Instagram, "Today I will be receiving the Elmer Award from the Harvard Lampoon, tomorrow I will not. Please don't tell them - but I'm actually honored. #HarvardLampoon."

It was the seventh time the undergraduate organization bestowed the honour. Previous recipients include Robin Williams, John Cleese and Jay Leno.
