Jindal Stainless (Hisar) today reported 50.47 per cent jump in its standalone net profit to Rs 74.38 crore during the first quarter ended June 30.
The company's net profit stood at Rs 49.43 crore in the April-June quarter of the last fiscal.
Total income of the stainless steel maker also rose to Rs 2,438.27 crore from Rs 1,653.18 crore during the same quarter of the preceding fiscal, it said in a BSE filing.

Shares of the company were trading down 4.17 per cent at Rs 163.15 apiece on the BSE.
