JIPMER inks MOU with ICTPH

The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research here today signed an MOU with the IKP Centre for Technologies in Public Health (ICTPH) to develop skill based curriculum to equip physicians, including AYUSH doctors, to provide need based primary healthcare services in the Union Territory.

The MOU would promote collaboration on the advisory role pertaining to a proposed Bridge Training Programme (BTP), a release issued here stated.

JIPMER director Dr S C Parija and ICTPH director Sivaraman signed the MOU.

ICTPH had been working on developing innovative and multi-pronged human resource strategies and its BTP for AYUSH physicians aimed at enhancing their skills to deliver quality and evidence based allopathic protocol driven primary health care in community settings, the release said.
 

Parija said a working group had been formed, comprising medical education experts and subject specialists, which would discuss the strategies to develop a skill based curriculum to equip physicians, including AYUSH doctors, to provide need based primary healthcare services.
