JIPMER team at flood ravaged village in Kancheepuram district

An eight-member team of doctors and paramedical staff of centrally sponsored JIPMER oday rendered its services to the rain-affected people in Tamil Nadu's Kancheepuram district.

The team was deputed by its director Dr S C Parija.

It rendered medical help in Bharaniputhur village in Kancheepuram district which was ravaged by recent rains.

A release from JIPMER said 353 people were served by the team who rendered services in association with Indian Coast Guard.

Drugs and other consumables were distributed by the team to ensure that there was no setback in the health of the people in the aftermath of the rains, the release said.
