Jawaharlal institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), a premier medical institution in Central sector here, has drawn up plans to introduce the facility for liver transplant.
A release from the Director of JIPMER T S Ravikumar said that the liver transplant facility would be launched during this year and already the hospital has facilities for kidney and bone marrow transplants since 2012.
As part of introducing multi organ transplants the institute would make available the facility for liver transplant during this year.
