JK CM discusses security situation in Valley with Governor

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah called on Governor N N Vohra today and discussed security situation of Kashmir Valley and release of annual plan funds by the central government.

Abdullah called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan here this afternoon, an official spokesman said.

In their over hour long meeting, the Chief Minister briefed the Governor about the management of public order issues in the Valley, consequent to recent incidents, he said.

The Governor and the Chief Minister also discussed several other important matters, including the release of Annual Plan funds by the central government, he said.
