Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today called on Governor N N Vohra at Raj Bhavan here and discussed matters relating to internal security, cross-border firing and panchayat polls.
Mehbooba discussed with Vohra the time frame for conducting the panchayat elections, scheduled to be held later this month, an official spokesperson said.
They also had a talk about the relief arrangements provided to those, who had to leave their homes after continued shelling from across the border, the spokesperson said.
The chief minister also apprised the governor about the issues -- which came up for discussion in the ongoing legislative session -- and matters relating to internal security management, he added.
