A police officer has gone missing shortly after he went for a bath in a stream in south Kashmir's Anantnag district, officials said here today.
Assistant Sub Inspector Habib Ullah went for a bath in a stream at Chandanwari area in Pahalgam on Saturday morning but did not return, police said, adding that a manhunt has been launched.
Meanwhile, police today fished out a boy's body from river Jhelum at Safakadal in downtown Srinagar after 10 days of hectic search.
Fasil Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Pamposh colony in Palpora here, had drowned in the river on June 1 while taking a bath.
