JK govt offers 35 post in Water Resources Regulatory Authority

Jammu and Kashmir Government has created 35 new posts in the State Water Resources Regulatory Authority (JKSWRRA), amid promotion of 9 of its officers.

The state cabinet, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, accorded sanction to the creation of 35 posts in JKSWRRA for its effective functioning.

It also sanctioned the promotion of Pushpa Devi, Director, J&K Funds Organization, a Member of the state Accounts Service to the Super Time Scale of the service Rs 37,400-67,000 Grade Pay of Rs 10,000 with effect from March 12.

Consequent to that, the officer has been re-designated as director general of the funds organisation.
 

Promotions were also awarded to eight members of the state accounts service who have been awarded Special Scale of Rs 37,400-67,000 and Grade Pay of Rs 8,700, with effect from March 12.

The officers who received promotions are Hardeep Kour Sudan, Lochan Dass, Mohammad Aslam Malik, Ghulam Mohammad Khan, Kuldip Singh Jamwal, Kuldip Kumar Gupta, Mohammad Yousuf Pandit and Neelam Gupta. The officers have been designated as Director Finance in the same post they hold presently.

Among other measures, the state Cabinet accorded sanction to the transfer of government land measuring 110 kanals and 16 marlas in Kupri village in Samba district in favour of the J-K home department for the establishment of an Indian Reserve Police Battalion.
