JK govt ropes in consultant to prepare connectivity plan

The Jammu and Kashmir government has roped in a consultant to formulate a comprehensive connectivity plan for the state.

The consultant, Rodic Consultants Private Ltd, will prepare a comprehensive mobility report for the state highlighting the requirement for new highways, tunnels, railways, metros and bridges to facilitate hassle-free intra and inter-state transportation.

Minister for Works Naeem Akhtar today met with the representatives of Rodic Consultants today.

The consultant has been asked to integrate the proposed Connectivity Plan with the Comprehensive Mobility Plan (CMP prepared by the RITES for Jammu and Srinagar cities.

Rodic Consultants specialises in highways, bridges, railways, tunnels and other infrastructure.
