Asserting that the JK government's performance is a befitting reply to detractors, chief minister Omar Abdullah today said his four years' rule was a sincere effort to make Jammu and Kashmir a model state in the country.

Four years' report card of my government on peace and development fronts amply substantiates its sincere intension to make Jammu and Kashmir a model state in the country with public empowerment and transparency as its main focus, Omar said while addressing a public gathering in the border belt of Marh in Jammu district today.

"Our performance is a befitting reply to the detectors.

"Initiatives and achievements registered are replies to the propagandist elements who cry hoarse to belittle the work done by the government to ensure peace, equitable development, economic prosperity, transparency and public involvement in governance," he said adding that those who have covered their eyes with black glasses, only see dark.

The network of roads and bridges, hospitals, educational institutions, power installations, irrigation and drinking water supply works and other development works in all sectors besides legislations to empower people, speak volumes about the present government, the chief minister said.
