Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra today asked the state's Chief Vigilance Commissioner Kuldeep Khoda to strengthen the anti-corruption machinery and not to spare any offender in a bid to tackle corruption.
Khoda called on Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here. The Governor asked Khoda to take all possible steps to strengthen and enhance the effectiveness of the Commission to visibly impact on the reduction of corruption and not to spare any offender, an official spokesman said.
Khoda briefed the Governor about various issues relating to the functioning of the State Vigilance Commission and the number of complaints received, sent for initiating action and the number of cases registered, the spokesman added.
