JK Guv to review security situation in Kashmir tomorrow

Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra will visit Srinagar tomorrow during which he will review the security situation in the Valley and interact with the stakeholders of trade and tourism sectors.

Vohra will be on a day-long visit to Srinagar on February 16 to review the overall security situation in Kashmir Valley with top officers of Civil, Police, Central Armed Police Forces, Army and the Intelligence Agencies, a Raj Bhawan spokesman said here today.

The Governor will also interact with the stakeholders of trade, tourism and industry sectors to discuss the various problems faced by them, he said.

Vohra has separately sought detailed report from DGP on the Pulwama incident in which two youths lost their lives yesterday and directed that the Magisterial Enquiry by Additional District Magistrate must be completed within the stipulated time.
 

Vohra has also directed the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, to visit SMHS Hospital at Srinagar where the injured persons have been admitted for treatment and extend necessary help to the families of the victims injured in the firing incident.
