JK: Jourian Border belt to get 50-bedded hospital

The foundation stone of a 50-bedded hospital was laid today by state Health Health, Horticulture and Floriculture Minister Sham Lal Sharma.

Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said the modern two-storey hospital, constructed by the J&K Housing Board with an estimated cost of Rs 16.86 crore, will start functioning within a period of two years.

Jammu-Poonch Constituency Member Parliament Madan Lal Sharma, who was also present on the occasion, said the state government is focusing on infrastructure development of the core sectors of health and education.

He appealed people and public representatives to cooperate with the executive agencies for smooth and timely completion of various projects.
