The Upper House of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly was today adjourned sine-die after over a month long budget session.
The state assembly was also adjourned yesterday.
Before adjourning the House, Chairman Amrit Malhotra thanked all the members for giving full support for smooth conduct of the budget session.

Malhotra said that all efforts were made to give adequate time to every member to raise issues of public interest.
Giving details of the business conducted during the entire period, the Chairman said that as many as 339 starred questions were taken up against the 368 received from the members, while 115 un-stared questions were taken up out of 129 received by the Council.
Regarding bills, the Chairman said that six Money Bills were returned to Assembly apart from passing nine Money Bills. He said out of 10 Private Members' Bills, eight were taken up besides introducing one Bill.
