JK Paper Ltd's today reported net loss of Rs 19.68 crore for the second quarter ended September 30 on the account of higher finance costs.
The company had posted a net loss of Rs 24.84 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, JK Paper said in a filing to the BSE.
JK Paper's net sales increased to Rs 623.85 crore in the July-September 2014 quarter, up 32.98 per cent as compared to Rs 469.10 crore during the same period a year ago.

In the quarter under review, JK Paper's finance cost stood at Rs 50.66 crore as against Rs 20.11 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
For the first half of 2014-15 fiscal, JK Paper registered a net loss of Rs 42.21 crore as against a net loss of Rs 23.46 crore in the year-ago period.
JK Paper net sales in H1 period (April-September) increased to Rs 1,197.93 crore as against Rs 889.63 crore in the same period last year.
Shares of JK Paper today closed at Rs 31.05 apiece at the BSE, up 0.98 per cent from the previous close.
