Accompanied by a number of senior party leaders, Malik visited the house of Lashker-e-Toiba 'commander' who along with his Pakistani accomplice were killed in the encounter on October 21, a JKLF spokesman said.
He said over half a dozen houses and business establishments including a leather factory were damaged during the encounter.
Malik distributed Rs 2.25 lakh among the affected families, the spokesman said,, adding JKLF had collected the money from "well wishers" in Srinagar, while some businessmen from Sopore also contributed to help the affected families.
After visiting the affected families, the JKLF Chairman went to Badamwari Sopore and met the bereaved family of LeT 'divisional commander' Muzamil Amin Dar, the spokesman said.
