The Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party today demanded the dismissal of the Mehbooba Mufti government, alleging deterioration of law and order in the state.
"The unprecedented deterioration of law and order situation, breakdown of administrative machinery and collapse of socio-politico-constitutional system in the state needed due cognizance of the central govt without further loss of time", JKNPP chairman and former minister Harsh Dev Singh said.
"We demand the dismissal of the BJP-PDP government in J&K state," he told reporters here.
Singh also supported the calls for a CBI investigation into the Kathua rape-and-murder case.
