JKPCC chief Mir calls on Governor

The President of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Ghulam Ahmed Mir today called on state Governor NN Vohra to discuss various issues pertaining to the state.

"G A Mir, President, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee, called on NN Vohra, Governor, here at the Raj Bhavan today" a Raj Bhawan spokesperson said.

He said that Mir discussed various important issues of public interest and welfare with the Governor.

In another meeting Vijay Bakaya, former MLC also called on Governor.

"Based on his experience as Member of the State Legislative Council (2009-15), Bakaya spoke to the Governor about several important issues relating to public policy and people's welfare" he said.
 

The spokesperson said that the Governor referred to the high importance of maintaining accountability and transparency in the governmental functioning.
