"We need to thank party chief Sonia Gandhi for the decision, which will inspire all the party members, especially the youths," Minister for Roads and Buildings Abdul Majid Wani said at Srinagar.
State Minister for Tourism G A Mir termed the move as a major decision before the 2014 Lok Sabha polls and said, "It was the appropriate time for him to take more responsibility and party will touch new heights under his leadership."
