"We have decided to continue the strike till the government does not talk to us and decide over our demands. There was no response from the government", General Secretary Jammu and Kashmir SRTC Workers' Union, Paramjit Singh told reporters here.

"Government is selling out assets. They are dislodging our employees and buses from SRTC owned lands and complexes--it condemnable", he said.

The strike had been called to protest the removal of SRTC headquarters from the Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) in Srinagar.

The entire transport network of 1,200 vehicles, including buses, mini-buses and trucks, of SRTC observed a total strike across the state for the fourth consecutive day today.
