An inspector of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) has allegedly committed suicide at his residence here, police said today.
The body of Rajesh Gupta was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his residence in Bakshi Nagar area of the city this morning, they said.
He was shifted to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, they said adding that the reason behind his suicide was not yet known.
The police have registered a case and initiated probe into the matter, they said.
