A day after facing the ire of a court for failing to file forensic reports on time, Delhi Police today filed a supplementary charge sheet in a case in which JNU student Anmol Ratan is facing trial for allegedly raping a 28-year-old woman in the university hostel.
The police, in its final report, filed the call details of the woman and the accused, fingerprint report and other FSL reports before Additional Sessions Judge Devendra Kumar Sharma who had pulled up the investigating agency for not filing the forensic reports despite repeated reminders.
The court had yesterday imposed a cost of Rs 10,000 on the DCP and the SHO concerned for not filing the reports on time and asked them to give an explanation.

According to court sources, the victim maintained her stand and reiterated her statement made before the police and a magistrate earlier that Ratan had raped her.
Advocate Vrinda Grover, appearing for the victim, moved an application saying the entire data of the woman's mobile should not be given to the accused as it contained her personal data, including photos and messages.
The court had earlier framed charges against Ratan for the offences of rape and criminal intimidation under the IPC. It had also kept his bail plea, filed through advocate Rajiv Mohan, pending till recording of the woman's testimony.
The accused, who is currently in judicial custody, has pleaded not guilty and claimed trial.
The court had earlier taken strong exception to Delhi Police's failure to file forensic reports on time "despite repeated warnings" and had asked why cost should not be imposed on it for such inaction.
The police had chargesheeted Ratan for allegedly raping the fellow student in the Brahamputra Hostel, where he stayed, after offering her a spiked drink.
According to the charge sheet, the victim had written on her social networking site's wall that she wanted to watch a movie and had asked if anyone had its CD. Ratan had messaged her saying he had a copy.
He had picked her up on August 20 on the pretext of giving her the CD, taken her to Brahamputra Hostel where he stayed, allegedly offered her a spiked drink and raped her, the charge sheet alleged.
