The Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union (JNUSU) today organised an exhibition to protest against the government's move to mark December 25 as 'Good Governance Day'.

In the exhibition, a series of cartoons were showcased depicting recent communal clashes in some parts of the city including Trilokpuri along with satirical write-ups, JNUSU president Ashutosh Kumar said.

The motive of the exhibition was to showcase "failures" of the current government in maintaining law and order in the city, Kumar said.

Meanwhile, the JNU Teachers' Association (JNUTA), along with JNU Staff Association, had organised a 'good governance day seminar' yesterday.

"In the seminar, we organised a series of lectures to highlight issues of black money, communal disharmony and emphasise that governance is not a day's affair and it calls for concerted efforts," JNUTA president Arun Kumar said.
