Late comedienne Joan Rivers' letters to celebrities such as Tom Hanks, David Letterman, Bo Derek and Meryl Streep will be published in a new book.

Titled "Joan Rivers Confidential", the book will be penned by Joan's daughter Melissa Rivers and Scott Currie.

The duo has been granted permission to publish the letters the actor wrote and received from prominent Hollywood personalities, according to PageSix.com.

One of the letters that is likely to feature in the book is Joan's message to actor Kathy Bates, who was miffed with her joke on the movie "Titanic" that the ship would not have sunk had Bates' character not boarded it.

Joan died on September 4, 2014 from cerebral hypoxia.
