"You are free to probe such instances at your level or through the vigilance organisation of the state. I am also planning to take random inquiries in a few specific instances very soon," RDC Arabinda Kumar Padhee wrote to the 10 district collectors under his jurisdiction.

During interaction with some industries, Padhee came to know that certain government employees by misusing their official positions, got their relatives jobs which were meant for locals as per employment norms of the government.

"Allegations have also reached my office in which government officials through 'benami' routes have engaged vehicles on rental in a few industrial units," Padhee said adding all such uncalled for practice were violative of the code of conduct or ethics meant for government officials.
