British director Joe Wright, best known for his literary adaptations like 'Atonement', 'Pride and Prejudice' and 'Anna Karenina', is in talks to helm an origin story about Peter Pan for Warner Bros.
Greg Berlanti, riding on the success of TV's Arrow, is producing and the script is by Jason Fuchs, who penned 'Ice Age: Continental Drift', said the Hollywood Reporter.
Wright makes for an interesting choice as a director given his experience with literary pieces.
Peter Pan story has an enduring quality and it seems that it is set for another revival with Columbia also developing the story with Channing Tatum and Joe Roth producing while Disney, which made the classic animated feature, is developing a story with Gary Ross as director.
