"Community" star Joel McHale is set to host of this year's ESPY Awards.
ABC announced that McHale, 43, will honour the very best in sports at the annual gala from the Nokia Theatre LA LIVE, reported Deadline.
"I'm thrilled to be hosting The ESPYs. Just ecstatic," he said in a press release.

McHale has plenty of hosting experience, having presented the White House Correspondents' Dinner last year. He also currently hosts the pop culture comedy series "The Soup" on E!.
McHale is following in the footsteps of previous ESPY Awards hosts Drake, Jon Hamm, Rob Riggle, Justin Timberlake and Seth Meyers.
The ESPY Awards - which raise money for The V Foundation - air this year for the first time on ABC on Wednesday, July 15.
