The 27-year-old attended the ceremony wearing a figure-hugging dress by British label Preen and was accompanied by her mother Melanie Sloan and grandmother Dorothy Sloan, reported Aceshowbiz.

"I was totally thrilled, of course, because I feel very nostalgic about that kind of thing. It's a wonderful tradition, and I felt like I finally made it. I really did! I was like, 'Wow! I've been in the industry for 20 years, and I've worked since I was a kid.' It felt like a big milestone," Johansson said.

Also present at the event was Jeremy Renner, her co-star from "The Avengers".

"Working with her was tremendously awful. For six months, she continuously threw me around, beat me, stepped on me and wiped the floor with my dignity and self-respect every day - all with a smile on her face. Now, finally, I get to step on you, sweetheart," Renner joked.

The actress playing Black Widow in "Iron Man 2" also thanked Renner for being her "knight in shining armor," and praised her mother and grandmother for "inspiring me to be a strong, modern, independent woman." PTI AAH AYM BK
