"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" actor John Boyega is rumored to be joining Chadwick Boseman in upcoming "Black Panther".

The 24-year-old actor had a meeting with Marvel to discuss a role in the film, reported Ace Showbiz.

Boyega had shared on Snapchat a photo labeled "Meeting" shortly before Kevin Feige started following the actor through his official Twitter account.

Previously, Lupita Nyong'o was reportedly in negotiations to play T'Challa's love interest in "Black Panther" while Michael B Jordan inked a deal to star as a villain.

Black Panther debuted in "Captain America: Civil War", which has the fifth-biggest opening ever in the US box office.

The standalone "Black Panther" movie is coming to US theatres on February 2, 2018, with production set to begin in early 2017.
