John Oliver to voice Zazu in 'Lion King' remake

Comedian John Oliver has come on board the cast of Jon Favreau's "Lion King" movie as Zazu.

The 40-year-old TV personality has joined a voice cast that includes Donald Glover as Simba, James Earl Jones as Mufasa, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa and Billy Eichner as Timon, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Jeff Nathanson wrote the script for the Disney's live- action adaptation, which is being produced by Favreau and Jeffrey Silver.

"Mr Bean" star Rowan Atkinson voiced the uptight hornbill in the original 1996 animated film.
