The 58-year-old "Pulp Fiction" star was recognised for his lengthy career at the Zurich Film Festival in Switzerland and just three days later he picked up another trophy in Spain, reported Daily Express online.
He was handed the prestigious Donostia Award by his "Savages" co-star Benicio del Toro.
"So much energy is spent in the nullification and invalidation of other people. So if some group of people get together to pat you on the back and say good job, I'll take it... Thank you," Travolta said.
Del Toro also handed his "Savages" director Oliver Stone.
"You have a gigantic heart, San Sebastian. This is a beautiful city, with beautiful people, and culture," Stone said.
