The 'School's Out' hitmaker has often praised Depp for his guitar skills and offered him a regular slot in his band after the actor impressed him during an appearance at a Cooper show here last year, reported Daily Star.
"Johnny came to Hollywood to play guitar. He didn't come as an actor at all... I always say to him, 'If you really want to go out on tour, let me know and you can come with us.' I wouldn't be surprised if he did," Cooper said.
Depp, 49, joined his friend on stage and stuck around to play on several covers, beginning with Cooper's rendition of 'The Doors' Break On Through' (To the Other Side) and the Beatles' Revolution.
