Hollywood star Angelina Jolie and pop star Lady Gaga have fallen prey to the internet hackers, who recently released financial and personal information about them.

Other notable figures, who have had their financial privacy compromised this time around include Robert De Niro, Dennis Rodman, Michael Vick and NRA advocate Wayne LaPierre, reported TMZ.

In a process colloquially known as "doxxing," a hacking group that was formerly based out of Russia leaked social security information along with financial details like credit card numbers and bank account specifics.

It is now suggested the group has relocated to the French island of Reunion, located off the coast of Madagascar, as their website's domain name changed its extension from .Su to .Re.

In March, when the original scandal occurred, an FBI spokesperson said that it was looking into the website where the information appeared. No arrests have since been made.

The cadre of celebrities and politicians involved in the initial situation included Michelle Obama, Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Ashton Kutcher, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Sarah Palin, Kanye West, Beyonce and Jay-Z.
