Mishra (85), survived by two sons and six daughters, was suffering from multiple diseases for last three years.
He was associated with several vernacular dailes and periodicals during his four decade long career. He was also the editor and publisher of a Odiya weekly 'Tarun'.
Mourning the demise of Mishra, people from all walks of life including former union minister Chandra Sekhar Sahu, local MLA R Ch Chyaupatnaik, district Congress chief Bhagaban Gantayat and BJD district president Subash Moharana visited his house and paid floral tributes.
