Addressing a function on the Ruby Jubilee of the Mizoram Journalist Association (MJA), Lal Thanhawla, also its founder president, said that scribes should stick to facts and always try to get information from the horse's mouth.

"Though the MJA has come a long way during the past 40 years and a huge improvement has come to the profession of journalism in the state, more improvement could be made," he said.

Mizoram, having a barely ten lakh population has around 90 dailies and also some periodicals while a number of private television channels broadcast news at least twice a day.
