Jowar prices fell by Rs 25 per quintal in lacklustre trade at the wholesale grains market today on reduced offtake by consuming industries.

However, other grains after moving in a narrow range in scattered deals, settled around previous levels.

Traders attributed weakness in jowar prices to subdued demand from consuming industries against sufficient stocks.

In the national capital, jowar yellow eased by Rs 25 to Rs 1,600-1,700 per quintal.
