Barring rise in jowar prices on increased offtake by consuming industries, other grains held steady at the wholesale grains market today in the absence of worthwhile activity.
Traders said reduced offtake by consuming industries against restricted supplies from producing regions mainly attributed the rise in jowar prices.
In the national capital, jowar yellow and white were up by Rs 50 each to Rs 1,590-1,600 and Rs 2,650-2,750 per quintal respectively.
