Jowar prices eased by Rs 20 per quintal in lacklustre trade at the wholesale grains market today due to reduced offtake by consuming industries.
However, other grains moved in a tight range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said reduced demand from consuming industries against adequate stocks position mainly kept pressure on jowar prices.

In the national capital, jowar yellow and white were down by Rs 20 each to Rs 1,480-1,500 and Rs 2,500-2,600 per quintal, respectively.
