Press Trust of India New Delhi
In restricted activity, Jowar prices rose up to Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today on scattered buying by stockists against restricted supplies from producing regions.

However, other grains moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.

Traders said scattered buying by stockists against restricted supplies from producing belts mainly led to the rise in jowar prices.

In the national capital, jowar yellow and white advanced to Rs 1,490-1,500 and Rs 2,550-2,650 from previous levels of Rs 1,480-1,500 and Rs 2,500-2,600 per quintal respectively.
