Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir today threatened to launch an agitation from July 5 if the Jammu and Kashmir government failed to restore proper power supply to Jagti Township in Nagrota belt of Jammu.
"An appeal has been made to the state government and the department concerned for restoring proper power supplies to Jagti Migrant Camp immediately, failing which the inmates of this camp would come on roads for agitation from July 5," president of JTC, Shadi Lal Pandita said here.
He said the inmates were suffering due to prolonged power cuts lasting 16-18 hours.
"This has caused a lot of difficulties to the old aged and infirm," he said.
