Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oraon today assured Julia Minz, who came in top ten in the Class XII board examinations overcoming her family's financial constraints, of all possible help for her higher studies.
Handing over Rs 10,000 to her at her Karanji village residence in Bero block of Ranchi district, Oraon expressed hope that the girl would become an IAS officer one day, a press release said.
Minz, who prepared for the examination as well as supported her mother as a manual labourer to supplement the family's earnings, finished in ninth position in this year's intermediate (Arts) examination in Jharkhand.
