Jubilant FoodWorks today reported 10.9 per cent decline in standalone net profit at Rs 33.59 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2013.
The company had reported a standalone net profit of Rs 37.70 crore in the October-December quarter of the previous fiscal.
Net sales rose to Rs 456.51 crore during the quarter under review from Rs 385.08 crore in the year-ago period, Jubilant FoodWorks said in a filing with the BSE.
The company's expenses during the quarter increased to Rs 408.76 crore as against Rs 331.97 in the year-ago period.
Shares of the company closed at Rs 1,095 per scrip, up 1.45 per cent, on the BSE.
