Jubilant Life Sciences today said it has restarted its manufacturing operations at Gajraula in Uttar Pradesh, except distillery unit.
The revenue impact of the distillery operations in FY- 2017 is not significant, the company said in a BSE filing.
"We are pleased to inform you that NGT (National Green Tribunal) has passed an order, allowing us to restart manufacturing operations at Gajraula (except the distillery unit) in compliance with the directions issued by the NGT in this regard," Jubilant Life Sciences said.

Being a good corporate citizen, the company said that it is an environmentally conscious company and focusses on the triple bottom line of economic, environmental and social performance.
"Our sustainability performance has been published since the year 2003 in accordance with the principles and guidelines of Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) with the highest A+ level rating which is externally verified," it said.
The company operates its manufacturing facilities in Gajraula with zero liquid discharge. In 2016, its manufacturing facilities in Gajraula were awarded the gold category for their sustainability performance, and were rated among the top five per cent global performers as evaluated by Eco Vadis during its latest evaluation.
"We would like to assure that all our manufacturing facilities including those in Gajraula comply with applicable laws," it said.
The National Green Tribunal has slapped a fine of Rs 50 lakh on five units of Amroha-based drug firm Jubilant Life Sciences for discharging untreated effluents in the open and extracting ground water beyond permissible limits.
