A judicial commission headed by Justice (retired) Zora Singh of the Punjab and Haryana High Court to probe a 2015 incident of alleged sacrilege of Sikh holy book Sri Guru Granth Sahib in Faridkot district of Punjab submitted its report to the state government here today.
"The report in a sealed envelope was submitted in my office in the evening," said Chief Secretary Sarvesh Kaushal.
The commission was set up by Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal in October, 2015. It was mandated to ascertain the causes and circumstances leading to the incident and its subsequent fallout.

Earlier, the Chief Minister had vowed that all those involved in the incident would be brought to book, besides ensuring exemplary punishment for them.
