The judicial custody of two suspects in the murder of a security guard in the Kodanadu estate caste was today extended till May 31.
The suspects, Jamsher Ali and Jitin Joy, lodged in a jail in Kerala, were produced before the Kothagiri Judicial Magistrate C Sridhar after the remand period expired.
The duo were later taken back to Kerala, police said.
Ali and Joy are among the eight arrested in connection with the murder of the guard, Om Bahadur on April 24. They had also allegedly allegedly broken open a room and taken away valuable watches and artefacts, which were later recovered, police said.
